St. Dominic holds lead at halftime

Rocha's seven points pace 20-16 advantage

The St. Dominic girls basketball team continues to lead the Kansas City O’Hara Celtics in today’s Class 4 third place game at Mizzou Arena.

After jumping out to the 14-8 lead after the first quarter, St. Dominic is holding the 20-16 advantage with just 16 minutes to play.

The Crusaders have maintained the lead since overcoming a 5-1 deficit to begin the game.

Jen Rocha’s seven points lead the way for the Crusaders while Lauren Needham has added five points for St. Dominic.

Alexandria Smith and Victoria Hurt both lead the Celtics wiht four points each.
