IWA comes out firing, takes it to Zumwalt West

After the first quarter of play in Thursday’s Class 5 semifinal at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, the Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights  have opened up a 13-3 lead on Fort Zumwalt West.

The Red Knights got four points apiece from Chloe Nelson and Jazmin Hitchens.

Incarnate held FZW to a trio of first quarter free throws, two by Kelsey Jones and one from Katelyn Kingsborough.
