DeSmet football signings

DeSmet football signings today:

Quarterback Stephen Kaiser will sign with the Southern Methodist University, Kenny McClendon, a defensive end, will ink with Central Michigan, while defensive lineman Ryan Isom will sign with Tennessee-Martin, and Justin Snorton, a linebacker, with Coe College.

 Isom, a 6-2, 275-pounder, was named first-team All-Metro Catholic Conference and to the Missouri Football Coaches Association’s second team all-state as a defensive lineman after recording 34 tackles, five of which were for loss, and three sacks.

 Kaiser, connected on 101 of his 186 attempts for 1,769 yards and 25 touchdown tosses. A second-team all-state and second-team all-Metro Catholic Conference pick, he also rushed for 129 yards and seven additional TDs.

 McClendon ranked second on the Spartan squad with eight sacks and three fumble recoveries. He also tallied 36 tackles, five of which went for losses totaling 23 yards.

 Snorton led the team with four fumble recoveries, while notching13 tackles, four for loss, and one sack during his senior campaign.
