The proceeds for the game-used jersey sale are going to benefit the Lafayette High baseball program.

Howard attended Southwest Missouri State after graduating from Lafayette in 1998.

In his six years with the Phillies, the left-handed hitting first baseman has established himself as one of the game’s premier power hitters.

Howard has already hit 222 home runs — he was the fastest player to reach 200 homers in the Major Leagues — and driven in 640 runs, was named the National League’s most valuable player in 2007 and helped the Phillies win the World Series in 2008.
