It was a rough day for St. Louis area teams in Saturday’s championships. Borgia was stopped in its bid to repeat as Class 4 champions earlier in the day. In the nightcap Oakville’s quest for the championship was halted by Hillcrest and its dynamic duo of Trey Starks and Dorial Green. Incarnate Word held off a Blue Springs to secure its second title under coach Dan Rolfes. (more…)

Borgia fell one game short in its bid to repeat as Class 4 state champion. In a rematch of last year’s title game, the Knights were knocked off by Kearney 47-43. Borgia finished the season 30-1.
