Last year, he rushed for more than 100 yards and three touchdowns in the Red Devils’ victory over Vashon. On Saturday, in both teams’ season opener, he almost had that at halftime.

Last season was one to remember for Fox. The Warriors won the conference title and made it all the way to the Class 6 semifinals.

This season is about sustaining the success. And even though Fox lost one of its key offensive weapons in Levi Terrell to graduation, the opposing coaches in the Mississippi Area Red believe the Warriors have what it takes to stay on top and gave them six first-place votes in the preseason poll.
